Jonah Rising
The perspective view in Jonah Rising is that which would be from being in the water. Many times in life we may feel as though we are in water up to our necks and even drowning in our circumstances. And yet when we focus on the promises of God the view is beautiful. Philippians 4:8 speaks of keeping our focus on whatever is good and praiseworthy. The Son is shining upon you. His promises are true. The largest mountain before you is painted in rainbow colors as it is the one marked with your personal promise. You will have to swim to get there. You will have to climb to get there. There will be imitator mountains (Ishmael’s) along the way. But stay focused. Fight the good fight of faith. Run the race set before you. Lay hold of the promise on your life. Rise up to your calling.
